Celtic has a trophy necklace, while Scar does not. Scar has armor over his stomach, while Celtic does not. There are differences of the 2, but their armor is relatively the same. As to the simularities of the Scar and Celtic figures, yeah you're just about right. So evidently, McFarlane appears to be as big of a fan to AVP as we are. All the other Movie Maniacs figures were created way after their movie was released. Now to my own knowlegde, i think this the first time McFarlene made movie action figures before the movie was even released. Maybe Darkness should do a pole on your question as to what figures are better. GRRRR! Looking at the AVP Predators, they come in second to the original. But now i have the get the June 2004 version just because he comes with the 1715 gun, med kit, and a skull trophy. I'm not a big fan of the Predator 2 figure. My favorite would have to be the original Predator. As for the Predators, I'm rather stumped. The original queen though is also a favorite. I can't say which queen i like better because we haven't seen if McFarlane even produced an AVP Queen. I definately like the original Alien, rather than the AR look. All the rest are just a new version of the MM6. Not to mention the new ones being released in June. I have the all of McFarlane's Alien and Predator MM series except the "12 figures, the Dog Alien and the Resurection Alien.

Or more agreeably, actually have a director with a vision which is more in keeping with Gigers/Scotts/Camerons Alien and get them to stick to it. You need a really strong director to either convince the producers to go elsewhere to get back to the essence of the design (which in my opinion has been lost). Anderson probably didn't get a say in the matter, but I don't think he would have been bothered about changing them anyway.
They're brought on board because they've done so much of this stuff already and get on well the said producers, and they're cheap. Chris Symes, the line producer in Prague told me that Anderson didn't choose Amalgamated Dynamics, and interestingly they where actually the first people hired by the producers. Giger said in a documentary that they looked literally like 'turds' in A4, brown and overslimed. Well lets hope they do keep 'em in the dark, and yes, if they're black as opposed to brown they should look better.
